Good News Sunday School Class

Welcomes anyone from ages 18 to 118. We meet each Sunday morning 9:30-10:30 in Classroom 4 on the top floor of the educational wing. The class uses the Adult Bible Study Curriculum which focuses on exploring the biblical message and how it applies to student’s daily life. Jim Wynn guides the lively discussions. Please join us!

Men and Women of Faith Sunday School

The Men & Women of Faith Adult Sunday School class meets from 9:30-10:30 a.m. up stairs in classroom 2. We are a multigenerational class with a common goal of growing in faith and knowledge of God and His will for our lives.

We enjoy lively discussions from the entire group as each of us has an opportunity to study the material during the week before class.  Our Study Book Jan.-May 2012 is Dr. David Jeremiah's "LIVING with CONFIDENCE in a CHAOTIC WORLD." We all come with our own individual background and level of biblical knowledge so we welcome questions and comments that challenge and broaden our thinking.  As a group, we have grown to appreciate our differences as well as embrace our common ground. And share in each others struggles and joys as we pray for one another.

Youth Sunday School  

The Jr and High School youth meet each Sunday from 9:15 -10:30 am. in the portable building next to the Fellowship Hall. Our youth learn from scripture how to trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior. We encourage life skills that give a strong foundation for moral character that will carry youth into their adult years. Contact Laura Hill or Joan Platt for more info.  

Confirmation Classes

CLUM Confirmation Classes are led by Amy McClung  and Laura Hill. Classes are usually held January through April on Sunday mornings during which time youth explore the history, theology and traditions of the Christian faith, specifically United Methodism in America and around the world. They learn the meaning of commitment to God and how to share their faith to others, thus confirming their love for Jesus Christ.  At the end of the classes students have the option of being Baptized into the Methodist Church or re-confirming the Baptismal vows that were made for them in their infancy. Confirmation Classes are a serious commitment. Parents/caregivers are asked to help the student follow through with their promise to attend the classes. We try to accommodate family and school schedules but setting priorities is part of the process of learning what is important in life. Discussion is underway for an adult Confirmation class for recent Methodist converts. Call or email Pastor Brad if interested in the youth or adult Confirmation Classes. We welcome your interest.

Children’s Sunday School

Sunday for school for children is at 9:30 – 10:30 every Sunday morning.  The classes are broken down as follows:

Students “graduate” from one class to the next on the Sunday before the new school year begins.

We have a place and teacher for You, Your Child and Your Family. Feel what a difference coming to Sunday School can make in your life!
