Souper Wednesday

Come to Souper Wednesdays and enjoy the best day of the Week! You will find Fellowship, Fun, Food and Bible Study. Come early at 3:00 and join the line dances, stay later and sing with the choir at 7:00. You will go home refreshed and filled with purpose knowing God is with you every step of your life.

K-5 grades   3:15 - 4:00 .... Outside/Crafts

                                   5:00 - 5:15 .... Worship in Sanctuary
                                   5:15 - 5:45 .... Dinner
                                   5:45 - 6:15 .... To Be Announced

6-12 grades 4:15 - 5:15 .... Skits/Crafts/Games                                  
                                   5:15 - 5:30 .... Worship in Sanctuary
                                   5:30 - 6:00 .... Dinner
                                   6:00 - 6:45 .... Bible Study
                                   Bus pick up at Mt. Valley Middle School

Each Wednesday when school is in session CLUMC picks up children at area elementary schools in our church bus or van for an evening of fun and worship. (Please call Laura Hill or Lori Maus for schools and pick up times.) 

When children arrive at the church they have a snack and water, then they can do homework or play outside. Children return to their classrooms at 4:00 for Bible Study and a lesson. At 5:oo they proceed up stairs to the Sanctuary for Worship. Supper is served from 5:15-5:45 in the Fellowship Hall. Meal time is open to parents and other family members/guardians. Free will donations are appreciated. From 5:45-6:15 is "free time". Parents/guardians are encouraged to pick up their children at 6:15 and no later than 6:30 unless arrangements are made ahead of time.

Registrations for each child is required and includes each child's full name and address, parent/guardians names, addresses, 2 phone numbers for each parent/guardian, emergency info as well as other important info. 

Due to transportation, classroom space and volunteer constraints, space in each class is limited and is awarded on a first come, first served basis.  After each class is filled, there is a waiting list.

Free Soup, salad and sandwich "fixins" are provided.  Donations accepted.

We offer Bus pick up at several area schools. Please call Lori Maus or Laura Hill 830.899.7104 for pick up times.

Student Life Classes will be offered each Sunday morning at 10:30 AM in Classroom 2 in the Youth Building for those unable to attend on Wednesday.
