and Activities. We have gone the extra mile to provide certified

Nursery
Care
Nursery care is available
for children from infancy through 4 years old during all
three services. We are also available to care for children
of those attending meetings at the church.
Please let the church office know a few days in advance the
day you will need child care. The nursery is down stairs at
the end of the hall and next to the elevator.
For the safety of the
children and their families, all nursery care workers have
had a background check.

Youth
Disciple Bible Study (9th-12th grade) meets each
Sunday 12:30-2:30 p.m. with Pastor Brad. Come and
enjoy lunch and great discussion with us. |

Student Life Classes will be
offered each Sunday morning at 10:30 AM in Classroom
2 in the Youth Building for those unable to attend
on Wednesday. |

 Lori
Maus - Children's Program Director - was born and raised in Austin,
Texas and received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s
degree in Business Administration from Texas State in San Marcos.
After graduation, Lori worked as a Medicare Compliance Analyst at a
home health agency in Austin. She then moved back to San Marcos to
take on the job of Marketing Manager at McCoy’s Building Supply.
She worked there for seven years until her first child, Larissa, was
born. At that time, she and her husband decided that being a
full-time mom was the best thing for their family. After Larissa's
first birthday Lori became the children’s director at CLUMC. In
2006 Lori and her husband were blessed to give Larissa a little
brother, Nate.
Lori is a genuinely loving and giving person that exudes compassion
for the children. She
considers herself to be truly blessed by the Lord to have such a
wonderful family and to be associated with a church as personally
fulfilling as Canyon Lake United Methodist Church. We are equally
blessed to have her on our staff.
