CLUMC is very proud of their Children's programs
and Activities. We have gone the extra mile to provide certified
personnel with innovative teaching ideas. Or environment is clean,
safe and loving. Please come and check us out anytime! |
Sunday School
Infant care is available during 9:30 and 10:50 Services.

Confirmation Classes

Nursery Care Nursery care is available for children from infancy through 4 years old during all three services. We are also available to care for children of those attending meetings at the church. If childcare is needed for a specific meeting or event, please let Lori Maus know at least one week prior to the event. We are located downstairs next to the elevator. For the safety of the children and their families, all nursery care workers have had a background check. Vacation Bible School

Lori
Maus - Children's Program Director - was born and raised in Austin,
Texas and received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s
degree in Business Administration from Texas State in San Marcos.
After graduation, Lori worked as a Medicare Compliance Analyst at a
home health agency in Austin. She then moved back to San Marcos to
take on the job of Marketing Manager at McCoy’s Building Supply.
She worked there for seven years until her first child, Larissa, was
born. At that time, she and her husband decided that being a
full-time mom was the best thing for their family. After Larissa's
first birthday Lori became the children’s director at CLUMC. In
2006 Lori and her husband were blessed to give Larissa a little
brother, Nate.
Lori is a genuinely loving and giving person that exudes compassion
for the children. She
considers herself to be truly blessed by the Lord to have such a
wonderful family and to be associated with a church as personally
fulfilling as Canyon Lake United Methodist Church. We are equally
blessed to have her on our staff.
