Adult Groups

Alcoholic Anonymous (AA) meets in Fellowship Hall each Thursday from 7-8 p.m.

At the same time Al-Anon meets in Rm 1 next to Fellowship Hall.

Our church bus allows us to do many field trips during the year.
One was our day outing to the Flatonia/La Grange area to see several 100-150 year old hand painted churches.

Line dancing -
Wednesdays 2:00-4:00  Fellowship Hall

Line dancing is for all ages, male and female.  It is FREE and EVERYONE in the community is welcome to join us at anytime.

 

Low Impact Aerobic exercise class
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30- 10 am

Our Aerobic class is designed for ages 10 to 100.  All exercises can be modified to execute from a chair for people that wish to just increase muscle and joint health.  The other end of the spectrum for the more youthful toning is adding ankle weight or additional hand weights to increase the results of the workout. The exercise classes are FREE and EVERYONE in the community is welcome to join us at anytime.
 

 

Lay Leadership Training opportunities

Equipping the Saints: Date to be announced

This course is designed to help churches and mission organizations train lay people to do the work of ministry and to edify the Body of Christ as instructed in Ephesians 4:12. to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. (NIV)  Though hands-on training programs, Equipping the Saints seeks to practically balance the Great Commandment of Jesus Christ, to love one another (NIV), with His Great Commission, go and make disciples of all nations, (NIV) in the lives of lay people.
